    聚四氟乙烯是由四氟乙烯单体采用悬浮法或分散法聚合而制得。分子量=5.2×105-4.5×107。白色粉末,400目的占75%,无味、无美、无毒。相对密度2.1-2.3,折射率1.37,玻璃化温度327℃,热分解温度415℃。在400℃以上时有微量失重并分解出有毒气体。使用温度-250~260 ℃,在210 ℃使用可达10000h。优异的耐化学腐蚀性,耐任何强酸(包括王水)、强碱、油脂,不溶于任何溶剂,摩擦系数极低,耐磨性好,并有自润滑性。耐老化性优良。电性能优异,耐电弧性好。具有不粘性,几乎所有的粘性物质都不能粘附其表面,完全无燃烧性。有“塑料王”之称。
