1918年出生，山东文登人。中共党员，1940年参加八路军，任胶东部队作战参谋、作战科长，1951年后历任胶东军区司令部军训科长，1951年后历任胶东军区司令部军训科长，山东军区管理处长，济南军区后勤部副局长，中国作家协会山东分会副主席。1964年开始发表作品。 著有中篇小说《陆军海战队》、《追踪》，短篇小说《智闯威海卫》，电影文学剧本《三进山城》(已拍摄发行)等。
