In this essay,we analyze the characteristics of the collapse accidents of modern constructions and discuss the technology ways of using advanced rescue equipments to rescue lives.

The main obstacles and limitations on development of advanced life-rescuing information technology are identified based on analysis of existing information technology.

This paper first presented a brief review of an example of rescuing two crews that entangled inside an overturned ship using the method of diving salvage, which conducted by the emergency unit of Shengzhen Base, Nahai Rescue Bureau, then some problems concerned about life rescue in the cases of small ship overturn are fully discussed.
