| 布朗（1821～1893） Brown，Ford Madox 英国画家。1821年4月16日生于法国加莱，1893年10月11日卒于伦敦。早年在比利时、巴黎和罗马学画，1845年定居英国。他崇拜拿撒勒画派，又按照拉斐尔前派的风格作画。重要的作品是1852～1863年间创作的《基督为彼得洗脚》、《劳动》、《美丽的巴阿-兰勃斯》、 《告别英国》等。这些作品反映了他深厚的生活功底。晚年还为曼彻斯特市政厅绘制过壁画。 |
