Gansu Minshan Mountains giant panda habitat, which is the most northern distribution border of giant pandas in China, is connected with the southern slope of Minshan Mountains in Sichuan Province.

After that,the authors take Beishan of Gansu province for the HLW disposal area as the example,and measure the joint roughness coefficient(JRC) of surface rock mass and cores of borehole.

Using the new achievements of geological survey and the comprehensive materials from previous research and exploration on geology, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing, Beishan area of Gansu Province is divided into two gradeⅡ metallogenic zones, three gradeⅢ metallogenic belts and ten gradeⅣ sub-metallogenic belts.

There are some reorganization of sedimentary rock existed in Sinian Xichangjing Group in Beishan area of Gansu Province.

The spatial distribution of Indo-Chinese and Yanshan Epoch granites in Beishan area of Gansu Province are summarized in combination with the features of some typical deposits which metallogenesis are relevant to these granites.
