| 毛利人古代文化 Maori culture 新西兰的新石器时代文化。约从10世纪开始，持续至19世纪中叶。其创造者毛利人为波利尼西亚群岛移民与当地美拉尼西亚人的混合。文化在早期阶段表现出波利尼西亚古代文化的影响。代表性遗址是称作帕的设防村落，多分布在新西兰北岛，总数达4000 ～6000 之多。村落一般包括居住区、工具制造区、食物贮藏区及墓地 4 部分，住房为建在石基上的长方屋 。该文化自 14 世纪后发展了锄耕农业，种植芋头、甜薯，兼事采集、渔猎 。使用石制工具。家畜有狗。毛利人的艺术很有特色，木雕精细、壁画富丽，喜用图案花纹布满画面，并流行文身习俗。 |
