  Shuzihuo数字化(digitize)非数字的信息转换为数字信息的过程。在数据库建设中,指将非数字的图形信息及地学的语言描述信息,通过一些特定的方法转换为数字信息,并输人到图形数据库的过程。图形数字化的方法有多种,目前最为常用的方法有二种。①手扶跟踪数字化,即通过数字化板读点器(鼠标),人工手扶跟踪贴辅于数字化板面的地图图形线条,将图形信息转化为数字信息录人计算机,并输入图形数据库;②扫描图形数字化,即通过各种类型的扫描仪,将地图图形信息的光电信号转化为数字信息录人计算机,经一系列的图形处理过程,最终输人图形数据库。地学语言描述信鲤梦竖黑聋羞暮翼鬓凳揣粼。一满k-)一’
