| 雄黄 realgar 一种砷的硫化物（As2S3）矿物。又称鸡冠石。含砷70.0％，主要用作提取砷和砷化物，是制造颜料、焰火、玻璃等的原料，也用它作解毒、杀菌中药。单斜晶系，晶体呈短柱状，板状解理完好。集合体成粒状、块状或皮壳状，性脆。多数橘红色，条痕淡橘红色。半透明。晶面具金刚光泽，断口呈树脂光泽。莫氏硬度1.5～2 ，比重 3.5 。熔点低（310℃），灼烧时放出蒜臭味。长期暴露于日光下会分解成橙黄色粉末。多是低温热液作用或火山喷气、温泉沉淀形成。常与雌黄、辉锑矿共生。中国湖南慈利、石门交界的雄黄为世界之最。罗马尼亚、德国、瑞士等国也为主要产地。
