| 水青树 Tetracentron sinense 水青树科的一种，中国的珍稀树种。落叶大乔木，高达40米，全株无毛；芽为与叶柄基部合生的托叶所包围；长枝上具距状短枝。水青树喜阳光，深根性，适宜生长于气候凉、湿润、排水良好的酸性土壤。星散分布于西藏、云南、四川、贵州、陕西、甘肃、湖南、湖北，生于海拔1200～3500米阔叶林中。越南、缅甸北部也有分布。木材白色，结构细致，可供建筑、家具用材。树姿婆娑，适宜栽培作观赏和行道树。水青树是第三纪留下的活化石，过去划为木兰科的成员，但其有短枝，叶有锯齿，掌状脉，托叶与叶柄相连且包围顶芽；花序穗状。较木兰科进化。 |
