Poly(ethylene glycol terephthlate-co-cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate)(PETG or PCTG) was synthesized from dimethyl terephthalate(DMT) or purified terephthalic acid(PTA),ethylene glycol(EG) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol(CHDM) by PTA and DMT processes respectively.
