薄荷 Mentha haplocalyx 一种有特种经济价值的芳香作物。唇形科薄荷属多年生草本。中国大部分地区均有分布。中国是薄荷油、薄荷脑的主要输出国之一。 薄荷茎高30~60厘米。单叶对生,长圆状披针形,边缘有粗锯齿,表面有微柔毛及腺点 ,揉之有辛凉香气。秋季开紫、淡红或白色花朵。薄荷虽有较强的适应性,但温暖、湿润、阳光充足的环境和肥沃、排水良好的砂质壤土尤为适宜。薄荷茎叶中含薄荷油亦称薄荷原油,可用蒸馏法提取。薄荷油经分馏冷冻、结晶,可提取薄荷脑,剩余的油称薄荷素油,其中仍含薄荷脑约55%。薄荷油、脑可用以配制清凉油、薄荷锭等夏令药品,也是食品、化妆品的赋香料。薄荷茎、叶入药有祛风散热、止痛、健胃和祛痰的作用,主治感冒、头痛、咳嗽、咽喉肿痛等症。 |
