库蚊(Culex)
无脊椎动物,昆虫纲,双翅目,蚊科。又称家蚊。体多呈黄棕色,翅上无花斑,触须短,触角与口器近等长。刺吸式口器。静止时,身体与停落面平行。
雌蚊傍晚或夜间吸取人、畜的血,传播丝虫病和流行性乙型脑炎等。分布于全世界各地,幼虫多喜在房屋附近污水或水缸中孳生,成蚊多躲在室内黑暗、温暖、潮湿处越冬。中国常见的种类为致乏库蚊(Culexfatigans)、三带喙库蚊(Culextritaeniorhymchus)等。
