The purpose of this research is to present some reflections and understandings regarding the promotion of autonomy in the Chinese cultural context and find out the impact of Chinese learning culture on the development of learner autonomy in language learning at the Chinese college level to enrich our understanding of the relationship between culture and learner autonomy.
