形态特征子实体中等至较大，多年生，木栓质。菌盖扁平往往呈覆瓦状，2.5-7cm×3-12cm，厚5-3.5mm，初期近白色渐变为红褐色，边缘近白色，表面光滑，有不明显环纹，或粗糙不平。边缘薄或厚，波浪状至瓣裂，受伤处由白色变深色。菌肉厚4-30mm，近白色，新鲜对浅肉色，木质，有环纹。菌管近似菌肉色，长2-10mm，往往单层，壁薄。菌口近圆形至多角形，近白色，淡粉灰色至浅褐色，每毫米4-6个。菌丝无色，粗5.5-8μm，无横隔。菌肉及菌管遇KOH时变为黑色。孢子无色，光滑，卵圆形，4-7.5μm×3-5μm。
