性质:指在乏核燃料后处理厂高放废液的蒸发处理过程中,加入蔗糖或甲醛为还原剂,使之与高放废液的硝酸发生氧化还原反应,生成二氧化氮或一氧化氮,降低蒸发浓缩液的酸度。高放废液脱硝处理的优点是减少因中和所引进的盐量,使在固化处理时有较高的包容量或较大的体积变化系数,从而减小最终处置废物的体积。
