集中分布于江苏、浙江、安微三省。
繁殖与栽培:
栽培的要点主要有：（1）最适宜的栽培时间是5-9月份，可以同花期控制相结合，切忌在长叶以后的冬季或早春移栽；（2）栽植时施适量的基肥和栽培后灌透水；（3）开花季要适量灌水以达到开花整齐一致。
应用:
在我国应用石蒜于园林绿化已有多年的历史，单因其品种单一，花色单一，资源缺乏等原因未能得到广泛推广，仅在南京、上海、杭州等少数城市绿地中应用。近年来，以日本为主的东南亚国家，从国内大量进口石蒜属新品系，培育繁殖新品种，广泛应用于绿地、花坛绿化。
