According to the recent years researches on some hydrothermal exhalative sedimentary deposit in Guangxi,Dahongshan,Yimen and Chenghai copper deposits in Yunnan Province,and by referring to the concerning documentts,the present situation,significance and developing trend of the study on this kind of deposit are discussed.

Based on systematic studies, the authors have reached the conclusion that the Miaozi barium deposit belongs to witherite barytocalcite barytodolomite type of exhalative hydrothermal sedimentary origin.
