盐的离子和水电离出来的h+或oh-结合成弱电解质的反应。是中和反应的逆反应。由弱酸和强碱生成的盐如ch3coona,它在溶液中的ch3coo-能和水电离出来的h+结合成难电离的ch3cooh,溶液中[oh-]>[h+]而显碱性;由强酸和弱碱生成的盐如nh4cl,发生水解后生成难电离的nh3·h2o,溶液中[h+]>[oh-]而显酸性;由强酸和强碱生成的盐如nacl,它的离子不会和h+或oh-结成难电离的物质,故不发生水解,溶液显中性;由弱酸和弱碱生成的盐,水解情况较复杂。
