Through the numerical simulation of forced oscillation of liftbody by solving the (N-S) equations, the equilibrium gas effect on damping-in-pitch derivatives is investigated.

In this paper, the supersonic damping-in-pitch derivativesof blunt body were calculated with two methods: (1) harmonic perturbationmethod by solving Euler equations; (2) simulant viscous flow field by solving unsteady N-S equations.
