This paper describes briefly the mission of the joint operation which included three steps as specialty training and tropical medical conference,medical treatment exercise and medical relief,and then introduces the current research of tropical medicine in Gabon and the experiences on construction,application and management of high-level biosafety laboratory in Gabon.
