The author, on analyzing the reasons of the blunted rights awareness in the traditional Chinese society, seeks ways and modes to promote the cultivation of rights awareness for the present age for the purpose of facilitating China towards the era of rights and accelerating our course of constructing a country ruled by law.

Many research methods such as Semantics,history,comparative research methods are be used in this thesis to analysis Liang Ch\'i-ch\'ao\'s ideas of right,as well as the rights-based relationship between the individual and community which was under the influence of western theory in Japan.
