One mark of this kind of transition is the change of idea of history for practical utility,that is to say,the idea changed from reference for governing state to reference for saving Chinese nation,from concerning rise and fall of dynasties to concerning the destiny of Chinese nation.
这种转变的重要标志之一，就是史学经世致用思想的变化，即史学经世致用思想从“资治”到“救国”，从着眼于王朝治乱兴衰到关注国家和民族前途命运之经世致用的宗旨和参照系的变化。

| 经世致用 中国宋代后逐渐形成的一种提倡研究当前社会政治、经济等实际问题，要求经书研究与当时社会的迫切问题联系起来，并从中提出解决重大问题方案的治学方法。又称经世致用之学。其特点是以解释古代典籍为手段，从中发挥自己的社会政治见解，并用于社会改革。主要代表人物有：宋代的吕祖谦、薛季宣、陈傅良、叶適、陈亮；明末清初的顾炎武、黄宗羲、王夫之、李颙、颜元、李塨、王源；清末的魏源、龚自珍、康有为等人。 |
