In this paper,we utilize a novel classification method synthesized with continuous wavelet transform(CWT) and Bayesian neural network(BNN) to detect and recognize the characteristic EEG(electroencephalogram) information by using the event related desynchronization(ERD) caused by imaginary movement thinking.

A new method which can extract event related desynchronization or event related synchronization(ERD/ERS) signals produced by imaginary movement in brain based on the independent component analysis(ICA)combined with the power spectral density(PSD)curves was presented.
