昆剧是南戏的嫡传,是在海盐腔的基础上发展起来的,它在昆山诞生后不久即传入浙江,并得到了迅速的发展,究其原因,即昆剧与海盐腔有一定的血缘关系,浙江又有它生存发展所需的非常良好的土壤、水分与空气。
