旅游农业（travelling agriculture）：又称绿色旅游业或观光农业。与旅游相结合的一种消遣性农事活动。农民利用当地有利的自然条件开辟活动场所，提供生活设施，招揽游客，以增加收入。旅游活动的内容除游览风景外，还有林间狩猎、水面垂钓、采摘果实等农事活动。有的国家以此作为农村综合发展的一项措施。

又称绿色旅游业或观光农业。与旅游相结合的一种消遣性农事活动。农民利用当地有利的自然条件开辟活动场所，提供生活设施，招揽游客，以增加收入。旅游活动的内容除游览风景外，还有林间狩猎、水面垂钓、采摘果实等农事活动。有的国家以此作为农村综合发展的一项措施。
旅游农业应该是围绕旅游办农业。也就是说，它是为旅游提供产品和服务的。它的生产特点应是生态性的，以保护生态平衡作前提；它的产品特点应是民族性的，以弘扬传统文化为卖点；它的经营定位应是服务性的，以游客需要定模式。自然、传统，是旅游的目标，也正是我国广大农村地区最大的特点。这一特点，从发展现代农业的角度讲不算优势，但要发展旅游农业，它就成了我国广大农村地区的共同的区域优势。
