| 品特（1930～ ） Pinter，Harold 英国剧作家，导演 。1930年10月10日生于伦敦东部哈克尼一犹太裁缝家庭。19岁开始发表诗文。1948年曾在英国皇家戏剧学院学习。1957年写出第一部剧本《房间》，从此成为专业剧作家，偶尔也参加演出或担任导演。品特是英国荒诞派戏剧代表人物，其剧作深受贝克特、卡夫卡等人影响，与法国荒诞派也有类似之处，如表现人失去“自我”，人在一个荒诞的世界中不知所措，以及人与人之间的隔绝等。早期作品常着力渲染某种难以解释的外来威胁给人造成的尴尬处境，被称为“威胁的喜剧”。品特有些作品是以广播剧、电视剧和舞台剧3种形式并存的，他还改编过很多电影剧本。舞台剧剧本有《生日晚会》、《送菜升降机》、《看房人》、《侏儒》、《搜集证据》、《情人》、《归家》、《昔日》、《虚无乡》等。 |
