1.官署名。唐肃宗以后设宣徽南北院使，以宦官担任，总领宫中诸司及三班内侍的名籍和郊祀朝会宴飨供帐等事宜。后宦官势力渐大，位职亦尊。五代和宋以大臣充当，常以枢密院官兼任。宋南渡后废。辽﹑金﹑元亦置。明初改并其职掌于光禄寺。参阅《文献通考．职官十二》﹑《续文献通考．职官六》。
