| 加拿大人 Canadians 加拿大的基本居民。包括50多个民族成分。其中有英裔加拿大人、法裔加拿大人、其他欧亚移民后裔和土著居民 。官方语言为英语和法语。印第安人、爱斯基摩人以及部分新移民多讲各自的民族语言。信奉天主教、基督新教，并有少数犹太教徒和伊斯兰教徒。加拿大的土著居民为印第安人和爱斯基摩人，自16世纪遭受法、英殖民者入侵后，法、英及其他国家移民陆续迁入，逐渐形成现代加拿大人的复杂民族成分。居民主要从事工矿业、交通运输业、商业、服务业 、旅游业、公共事业。人均产值和人均收入较高，一般生活比较富裕。各族居民在生活方式和风俗习惯上，仍保持着各自的民族特点，虽然互有影响，但未形成全国统一的文化。
