| 卢布鲁克(约1215～1270) Rubruquis，Guillaume de 圣方济各会士。法国人。他是法国国王路易九世亲信，1248～1250年，曾随路易九世参加第七次十字军东侵。1253年，奉路易九世之命前往蒙古人处传教，并了解有无可能拉拢蒙古统治者，作为西欧各国发动的十字军东侵的同盟者参战。卢布鲁克从地中海东岸阿克拉城（今海法北）出发，渡过黑海，于同年秋到达伏尔加河畔，谒见拔都汗。拔都认为自己无权准许他在蒙古人中传教，便派他去见蒙古大汗蒙哥。12月，卢布鲁克到达和林南汪吉河（今蒙古翁金河）蒙哥冬季营地。1254年1月觐见蒙哥。4月，随同蒙哥来到蒙古国都城和林。7月带着蒙哥致路易九世的国书西归 ，于1255年回到地中海东岸。一年后，他用拉丁文写成了给路易九世的出使报告，即《东方行记》。他根据耳闻目睹，生动具体地记述了13世纪蒙古人的衣食住行、风俗习惯、宗教等情况，还仔细记述了所经山川湖泊、各地、各城以及不里阿耳、马札儿、钦察、阿兰、畏兀儿等各族的情况，是研究早期蒙古史、中世纪历史地理及中西交通史的重要原始资料。 |
