| 吐峪沟石窟 中国佛教石窟 。位于新疆鄯善县高昌故城东约15千米处火焰山东段吐峪沟两岸。今存有编号洞窟46个，但仅9个窟留有壁画，约开凿于公元4世纪，多数洞窟和壁画，凿绘于高昌王国时期。石窟窟形分方形窟、中心柱窟和纵卷顶窟，类型有支提窟、毗诃罗窟、讲经窟3种，反映了中国早期石窟特征。壁画大都严重剥落，第44窟正壁和两侧壁上均绘一佛二菩萨，本生故事画较为清晰，每壁各有一组7幅画，每幅画旁有汉文题记，内容有：羼提婆利忍辱截割手足、摩钳太子求法赴火、慈力王施血饮五夜叉、萨埵那太子舍身饲虎、尸毗王割肉贸鸽等。 |
