制备方法:在自然界茜素存在于茜草的根部。将蒽醌-2-磺酸与苛性钠和氯酸钾或硝酸钾共熔,然后把熔融物倾入热水中,再用盐酸将茜素沉淀而得:将9g氯酸钾、30g蒽醌-2-磺酸钠和110g氢氧化钠同溶于110ml水中,在压热釜中于170℃加热反应25g。冷后将反应物用水提取几次,每次150ml。水提取液过滤,滤液用盐酸酸化。冷却后吸滤析出的沉淀,洗涤,烘干,得约20g茜素。
用途:染料中间体,酸碱指示剂
