【加速折旧】固定资产折旧方法之一，产生于第二次世界大战后的西方国家。当时，美国和西欧各国在战后经济恢复中，为了鼓励技术改造和固定资产全面更新，促进生产率，有关法律允许企业厂商缩短固定资产折旧期限，在使用初期计提较大比例折旧，相应扩大初期的生产费用，使企业厂商获得推迟部分收益和递延纳税的财务好处以及加快固定资产投资的回收。加速折旧的理论依据是，固定资产在初期利用率高，生产率高，应多计提折旧，随后的利用率和生产率趋于下降，维修费用加大，因而应逐渐减少折旧。
