温哥华水族馆是北美洲三大水族馆之一：馆内蓄养的海洋生物超过7,000种。从北极海的海洋生物到亚玛逊森林的鸟类, 鳄鱼, 植物都可以在此观赏得到。还有杀人鲸(killer whale ) 和白鲸(beluga)优游在为它们所建造的仿真海洋生态环境里，让人们驻足良久，满足人们对这些海洋里的庞然大物的幻想。馆内有四个主要展览馆：
西北太平洋馆 ( the pacific northwest habitat) 展示卑诗省沿海的海洋生物，如：海獭、大章鱼。偶尔也能看到潜水人员在水中喂食鱼群的情景。
太平洋热带馆(tropical pacific gallery)可参观热闹的珊瑚礁及热带鱼世界，海葵招展、巨鳗捕食，都是精彩的海底风光。
亚玛逊流域馆(the amazon gallery)仿真亚玛逊流域的部分区域，经过十年的筹划才建立完成。各种珍奇鱼类、鸟类、爬虫类，在湿热的馆内舒适的生活着。有些生物令人觉得惊奇不已，例如：4只眼睛的鱼。
加拿大北极馆(the arctic canada)可以从水底观赏优游自在的白鲸，也能倾听鲸鱼、海象等在北极深海交谈时所发出的声音。
