| 假言命题 hypothetical proposition 形式为“如果A则B”的复合命题。又称条件命题。其在前的支命题叫做前件，在后的支命题叫做后件。假言命题陈述一种事物情况是另一种事物情况的条件。在形式逻辑中，命题联结词“如果，则”被理解为“前件真而后件假”是假的，即“ 如果A则B”假，当且仅当A真而B假；而当A假时 ，整个复合命题总是真的。在现代逻辑中，命题之间的这样的真假关系叫做实质蕴涵。在日常语言中，关于“如果，则”可能还有其他含义，如因果联系、推论关系等等。 在假言命题中，“如果A则B”陈述A是B的充分条件，但它并不意味着“如果B则A”或“如果不A则不B”，即它并不同时陈述A是B的必要条件。 假言命题和等值命题在中国有关传统逻辑的书中分别称为充分条件假言命题和充分必要条件假言命题，“如果A则B”等值于“如果不B则不A”，它正好陈述B是A的必要条件。在汉语里，“只有A才B”、“除非A不B”的含义与“如果不A则不B”、“如果B则A”相当 ，因而中国逻辑学界大都把“只有A才B”叫做必要条件假言命题的形式。“只有，才”可理解为“前件假而后件真”是假的，即“只有A才B”假，当且仅当A假而B真；当A真时，整个复合命题总是真的。 |
