At last,comparing with the traditional Network Security tools,the value of honeypot to network security in some aspects was discussed,such as data sets,false alerts,resources and environment.

By discussing the safety margin, the false alerting, the causes and the prevention of the GMDSS facilities, the paper presents some comprehensive measures in equipment designing, operator training, and regulation establishing to decrease the false alerting.
