Due to different background of historical and social conditions,structural linguistics in the western countries,which inherited the same traditions of philosophy and linguistics,has developed into two different branches.

As is known to all, structuralist literary criticism is deeply rooted in structural linguistics, which has been studied by many domestic scholars.
