Based on an oral English creative practical class in primary school,a statistical analysis has been employed for examining teacher s and students classroom time duration,the total amount of sentences and words and the average word number of per sentence,and also sentence patterns and the number and rate of turn-takings initiated by teacher and students.

Based on the results by Chinese and English learners,this paper analyses factors affecting turn-taking in spoken English class and strategies.

This article, from the linguistic view, using the CA method, analyses the online conversation, including the turn-taking and adjacency pairs, which make it different from the face-to-face communication.
