后置介词"到、给、乎、往、向、以、至、自、在"中,只有"乎、以"可以和前面的动词结合成词,原因在于动词可以和"乎、以"后面的成分直接构成动宾关系,从而使介词"乎、以"失去介引功能,变成无意义成分,在汉语双音节化趋势影响下,后附有意义的动词完成词汇化。
