The urban crime,one of the most serious urban problems,has a strong spatial color,the urban spatial anticrime is an important constituent in the urban anticrime system.

Urban problems are breeding,occurring and developing hotbeds of urban crime.

With the city of Guangzhou as a sample,the paper analyses the social problems,psychological changes and spatial environment modifications brought about by the urbanization process,maintaining that city design needs to take these problems into consideration so as to prevent or at least diminish urban crimes and guarantee public security.
