前运算阶段
preoperational stage
前运算阶段(preoperational stag。)J.皮亚杰关于儿童智力发展的第二个阶段，年龄大约从2岁到7岁。由于符号功能的出现，儿童开始从具体动作中摆脱出来，凭借象征性机能在头脑中进行表象性思维。这时儿童的心理表象还只是物的图像，仅具有静态的性质，并不是动作格式的内化，儿童还不能在思维中，把事物的图式与造成图式改变的动作格式协调起来，即不能使前者从属于后者，无法进行真正符合逻辑的推理。此阶段儿童认识活动的特点:(l)相对的具体性。只能借助于表象进行思维活动，不能进行运算思维。(2)不可逆性。各种关系是单向的、不可返回的，没有守恒结构。(3)自我中心性。只能从自己的角度理解事物。(4)刻板性。在思考问题时，只能注意到某一方面，不能顾及其他。(5)缺乏概括事物性质的层次性。此阶段又可分为:(1)前概念思维阶段，年龄大约是2岁到4岁，象征性机能产生，儿童能够凭借着意义所指的客观事物加以象征化。(2)直觉思维阶段，年龄大约为4岁至7岁，开始从前概念思维向运算思维进展，虽然判断仍受直觉调节的限制，但已开始从单维集中向连续两维集中过渡，这一过渡预示着运算思维的到来。 (白学军撰林索德王艾利审)
