证券法规定，在证券交易中，代理客户买卖证券，从事中介业务的证券公司，为具有法人资格的证券经纪人。证券经纪业务是证券公司的主要业务，证券经纪业务的主体为证券经纪人。
作为一个合格的证券经纪人，有三个条件必须符合，一是对证券市场有深刻的认识；二是有着丰富的从业经验；三是有良好的职业道德。”
