好人理查德号航空母舰(bon homme richard)由纽约船厂1943年2月1日开工建造，1944年4月29日下水，1944年11月26日服役。1947年1月9日退役保存 。1951年1月15日因朝鲜战争爆发重新服役。1952年5月14日开始在三藩海军船厂进行scb 27c改装和scb 125斜角甲板改装，1955年11月1日完工。1952年10月1日在大修期间年重新设计改装为攻击航母。1971年7月2日退役保存。1992年被卖出拆毁。
