| 共同通讯社 Kyodo News Ageney 日本最大的通讯社。简称共同社。1945年11月1日成立。前身是1936年成立的同盟通讯社。该社为社团法人组织，由63家加盟的报社和一批订有契约的新闻单位组合而成，向日本全国的报社、日本广播协会、民间广播机构、海上的日本船舶等播发新闻。1991年，全社工作人员1950人，其中记者1200人。在国内，设关东总局(在东京)和5个地方支社、48个支局；在国外设有36个总支局，派有常驻记者及雇员，进行采访活动。每天24小时工作，用日、英两种文字发稿，共约60万字。1986年5月开始向国内电台、电视台提供录音、录像新闻。还开展经济信息业务，通过电视向银行及保险、证券交易所和政府部门提供金融信息。
