| 生物多样性 biological diversify 植物、动物和微生物的所有物种和生态系统以及物种所在的生态系统中的生态过程。生物多样性的内容有遗传多样性，物种多样性和生态系统多样性。遗传多样性是指每一物种内基因和基因型的多样性；物种多样性是不同物种的多样性或物种的丰富度；生态系统多样性是指生物群落和生境类型的多样性。保护生物多样性就是在基因、物种与生境3个水平上的保护。生物多样性的保护和利用问题引起国际社会的关注。世界资源研究所、世界自然与自然资源保护同盟以及联合国环境规划署共同制定了一项全球生物多样性保护战略。该战略是世界自然保护大纲的姐妹篇。它的目标是提供一种综合性的框架以促进人们采取紧急的、创新的和协调的行动来制止世界生物资源的丧失和退化并促使这些自然资源对人类幸福作出更大贡献。为了在世界水平上对生物多样性的保护采取迅速而有效的行动，除制定全球生物多样性保护战略外，联合国环境规划署还制订了一份《保护生物多样性国际公约》，于1992年6月在巴西召开的联合国环境与发展首脑会议上通过。世界各国都在为公约早日生效和履行公约而作出努力。中国政府率先签署了公约并正在制定中国生物多样性保护行动计划。 |
