With the greatly increasing complex and high-density signal environment for communicationreconnaissance, it is of grean importance to solve the co-channel multi-signal problem, especially the classification and recognition of single channel overlapped signals, which is even more valuable for the research on communication EW.

According to the problem of blind separation of co-channel mixed signals, a new method of separation based on Empirical Mode Decomposition is presented.
