| 耶稣会 Jesus， Society of 天主教修会。又称耶稣连队 。由西班牙人伊纳爵·罗耀拉于1534年在巴黎创建，并得到教皇保罗三世的批准。其目的是对抗当时出现的宗教改革运动。会规要求其会士立绝财、绝色、绝意的誓愿，特别强调无条件地绝对效忠于教皇。以举办文化教育、指导灵修为主要活动。组织上仿效军队的编制，有森严的纪律，下级必须服从上级。该会渗入社会各阶层，并广泛结交达官贵人，扩展势力，干预政治。曾于18世纪末被教皇克雷芒十四世解散 ，19世纪初又由教皇庇护七世予以恢复。随着西方的殖民扩张，该会已遍布亚非拉美，今仍属天主教中规模最大、实力最强的国际性修会，明朝万历十一年（1583）传入中国，曾于上海、江苏等地设立10个教区。
