幼年类风湿关节炎的病因
幼年类风湿关节炎和成人类风湿关节炎一样，病因尚不明确。根据目前研究，和成人类风湿关节炎相似，与自身免疫反应、感染、遗传等因素有关。
（1）自身免疫因素：
现在认为，幼年类风湿关节炎的发生是因某些微生物如细菌、病毒、支原体等刺激机体，使体内正常的免疫球蛋白IgG成为变性的IgG，后者作为抗原刺激机体产生出抗变性IgG的抗体，也就是我们常说的类风湿因子。类风湿因子与其抗原（即变性的IgG）相结合，成为免疫复合物。粒细胞吞噬了免疫复合物则形成类风湿细胞。类风湿细胞释放的蛋白水解酶和胶原酶使关节滑膜和软骨分解破坏，在分解过程中产生的一些中间物质和致炎因子，导致了滑膜产生炎症反应，形成类风湿关节炎。
（2）感染因素：
有学者认为，幼年类风湿关节炎的发生与感染有关。如溶血性链球菌的细胞壁上有肽聚糖，它可能是本病发病的一个持续刺激源，也有人认为风疹病毒与支原体的感染也与幼年类风湿关节炎的发生有关，但均未肯定。
（3）遗传因素：
幼年类风湿关节炎也有家族遗传倾向，这与体内存在易感基因有关。
（4）其他：
幼年类风湿关节炎的发病也与寒冷、潮湿、疲劳等环境、精神因素有关，它们可作为诱因而导致本病的发生。
