In this paper,we used Cointegration analysis and Granger causality test methods to study on the real effect of the United States imports of manufactures and primary products from China on economic growth in the United States.

The demonstration results indicate that the intra-industry trade indexes of the manufactured goods are higher than those of the primary products,and the intra-industry trade level of the technology or capital-intensive products is higher than that of the labor-intensive products.
