| 孙武 中国古代军事学家，中国古代军事学的奠基人。春秋末期吴国将军。字长卿，齐国乐安（今山东博兴北，一说惠民）人。生卒年不详，约活动于公元前6世纪末至公元前5世纪初。因齐国内乱，孙武出走吴国。经吴国重臣伍员推荐，向吴王阖闾进呈所著兵法13篇，被重用为将。吴、楚争夺霸权，长期战于江淮。孙武与伍员等辅助阖闾制定袭楚方略，使楚疲于奔命，国力耗损。吴国“西破强楚，北威齐、晋，南服越人”（《史记·伍子胥列传》），以一隅之地而称霸，孙武起了重要作用。所著《孙子兵法》，总结了春秋末期及其以前的战争经验，在中国和世界军事史上，最早比较系统地涉及战争全局问题，首次揭示了“知彼知己，百战不殆”这一指导战争的普遍规律，总结了若干至今仍有科学价值的作战指导原则，是不朽的军事名著。
