一种肝功能试验，测定肝脏对血液中半乳糖转变成糖原的能力。患者空腹留尿，测尿中含糖量。取半乳糖40g溶于300ml温开水中口服，服后每隔一小时收集尿液一次，共收集5次，测尿中含糖量。正常人口服40g半乳糖后，5小时尿中排出半乳糖量应＜3g。阻塞性黄疸时，尿中排出量正常；严重肝功能不全者，其尿中排出量增至6g以上，因此对黄疸的鉴别有一定意义。
